This past weekend we had the opportunity to create a beautiful wedding cake for our clients at Chart House in Weehawken, New Jersey. My quick cell phone shot really doesn't do it any justice. A more simple cake, the only side decorations are a lovely phrase in gold that reads, "When I follow my heart, it leads me to you." The sides of the cake are adorned with sugar flowers of stylized peonies, roses, and trailing leaves in pale green. I love the understated, yet completely romantic and formal, feel of this wedding cake. It looked gorgeous with the New York City skyline views that Chart House is known for. I hope you love it as much as I do.
