Beautiful, intricate dress details make for a stunning cake. Our client from this past week had a highly detailed wedding dress that was made by her mother-in-law. With such intricacy in her gown, it would be easy for the cake to look too busy. By keeping the top two cake tiers simple, it allowed us to cover the bottom tier with handmade sequins, lace piping and handmade lace brocade. A simple faux spacer separating the second from third tiers also simplifies the look, yet puts the focus on the details.
